Social Autopilot: Schedule Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook Posts with AI

Turn store products and pages into Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook posts written by your own AI, sized for each platform. Schedule them, bulk upload Pins from a CSV, or let a daily autopilot rule post for you.

Posting your products to Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook by hand means writing three versions of every post, resizing the same photo three times and remembering to come back at the right hour. Social Autopilot does that work: your own AI writes a version for each platform, the image is cropped to each platform's size, and the post goes out now or on a schedule, with UTM-tagged links and the real numbers each platform reports.

It suits store owners who want steady Pinterest traffic, niche site builders promoting new articles, and anyone with a spreadsheet of Pins ready to go.

What you can connect

Every account is connected through the platform's official login screen (OAuth): you sign in on Pinterest, Facebook or Instagram and approve the permissions. AM Jarvis never asks for your passwords, and the access it receives is stored encrypted.

  • Pinterest: personal or business accounts. Pins with a title, description, alt text and link, on the board you choose.
  • Instagram: Business or Creator accounts. Photo posts with a caption and hashtags. A personal account has to be switched to Business or Creator in the Instagram app first.
  • Facebook: Pages you manage, as photo posts or link posts. Apps cannot post to personal profiles, so those are not supported.

You can connect several accounts per platform. Disconnecting one cancels its scheduled posts and pauses its autopilot rules.

X (Twitter) and TikTok are listed as coming later. X now charges apps for every post, so AM Jarvis is waiting before adding it. TikTok requires an app audit before apps can post publicly, and support will follow once that is approved.

How to create a post, step by step

  1. On the Accounts tab, connect at least one Pinterest, Instagram or Facebook account.
  2. On Create, pick what to promote: a store product from your connected Shopify or WooCommerce store, a web page (AM Jarvis reads its title, description and main image), a published page from the AI Site Builder, or your own text.
  3. Tick the accounts to post to. For Pinterest, pick a board.
  4. Click Write with AI. You get a Pin title, description and alt text, an Instagram caption with hashtags, and a Facebook post, each kept within that platform's limits.
  5. Add an image: a product photo, the page image, one generated with AI, or your own upload.
  6. Check the previews, then choose Post now, or Schedule and pick a date and time.

Before anything is queued, each post is checked for text, an image the platform accepts, a board for Pins and an https:// link. Problems are listed in plain words, such as "The Pin title is longer than 100 characters", so you fix them before scheduling, not after a failure.

Writing with your own AI

Posts are written by the AI account you connect in Settings: OpenRouter (one-click connect), OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, DeepSeek or Groq. Your provider bills you directly. The AI is told to use only facts from your product, page and brand settings, so it does not invent prices, discounts, reviews, ratings, stock levels, shipping promises or fake urgency. Pins get no emojis and other posts get two at most.

The Brand voice card on the Accounts tab holds your brand name, tone, audience, call to action and hashtags, and the AI uses it in every post.

Images in the right size

Each platform gets its own crop, taken around the center of your image:

  • Pinterest: 1000 x 1500 pixels (2:3)
  • Instagram: 1080 x 1350 pixels (4:5), saved as JPEG
  • Facebook: 1200 x 630 pixels

You can add a headline to the image, up to 70 characters, in a band at the top or bottom drawn in your brand colors. Generating images only works with providers that can make them: OpenRouter, OpenAI and Google Gemini. Other providers write captions only. An AI image never shows your real product exactly, so use the product photo when accuracy matters. To prepare images yourself, the free image resizer has social presets.

UTM tags on every link

With the UTM box ticked, each link gets utm_source set to the platform, utm_medium set to social and utm_campaign set to your campaign name, so visits show up by platform and campaign in your analytics. Tags already on the link are kept. To tag links for other channels by hand, use the free UTM builder.

The queue: retries and plain-English errors

Scheduled posts wait in the Queue, shown as a list or a calendar, where you can edit, cancel or post them early. You can schedule up to a year ahead.

When a platform has a temporary problem, such as an outage or a rate limit, AM Jarvis tries again by itself: up to 4 tries, waiting 5, 15 and then 60 minutes. Problems it cannot fix alone stop the post with a message that says what to do, for example "Pinterest could not find that board. Pick another board and try again."

Each post is locked while it is being published, so it cannot go out twice. If the app restarts mid-post and cannot confirm the result, the post is marked not confirmed instead of being sent again, and you retry only if it is missing.

Autopilot: one new product a day

An autopilot rule posts your store products on a schedule. You choose the store, the account (and board, for Pinterest), the days, the time in your time zone, a campaign name, and the image: the product photo or an AI variant from your AI provider.

At that time AM Jarvis takes the next active product with a photo that the rule has not posted yet, newest first, writes the post with your AI, adds the image and posts it with UTM tags. If an AI image fails, the product photo is used. Once every product has been posted, the rule starts again from the newest and tells you so.

A rule only turns on after you tick a box confirming that AM Jarvis may post to the account automatically until you pause it. A rule saved after today's time has passed starts tomorrow, so there is no surprise post. Run now queues the next post 15 minutes ahead so you can review or cancel it. You can have up to 10 rules. Need products first? The Product Importer fills a Shopify or WooCommerce store.

Bulk Pins: schedule a whole CSV

If your Pins are already in a spreadsheet, the Bulk Pins tab schedules them on one Pinterest account. Pinterest's own bulk-create template works as it is, and so do most scheduler exports.

  1. Pick the Pinterest account and choose your CSV (up to 200 Pins per file). You can download a sample file.
  2. For images, put a public image link in the Media URL column, or put a file name such as linen-dress.jpg there and choose those files from your computer. They are matched by name.
  3. Choose Spread them out for me (a start date, 1 to 25 Pins a day and a time window), or Use the dates in the file.
  4. Click Check the file. Every row is shown with its problems, warnings and planned time.
  5. Confirm you own the images and links, then click Schedule. Every Pin lands in the Queue, where you can still edit or cancel it.

By default the check creates missing boards named in the file, shortens titles over 100 and descriptions over 500 characters at a full word, and skips rows that repeat the same image and link. Each is a checkbox you can turn off. Pins are placed at least 20 minutes apart, counting Pins already queued, and if you resend an upload after a dropped connection, no row is scheduled twice.

Worked example

Say you have 60 Pins for a new home decor account and choose Spread them out for me with 5 Pins a day between 09:00 and 22:00. That 13 hour window puts a Pin about every 2 hours and 36 minutes: around 9:00, 11:36, 14:12, 16:48 and 19:24, give or take a few minutes. The 60 Pins run for 12 days. If they all fall in one month on Starter (150 posts), 90 remain for other posts. The Free plan's 10 would not cover it, and the check warns you before you schedule.

Daily caps and plan limits

Every account has a 24 hour cap. Instagram officially allows 100 posts through apps per 24 hours. AM Jarvis caps Pinterest and Facebook accounts at 50 per 24 hours as its own anti-spam guard. At the cap, the next post waits an hour, and that wait does not count as a failed try.

Your plan sets how many posts go out each month. A post counts only after the platform confirms it, so failed posts do not count.

Current prices for each plan are on the pricing page.

Staying safe with Pinterest

AM Jarvis posts through Pinterest's official API with your permission, which Pinterest allows. What Pinterest flags is spam behavior:

  • Bursts: many Pins within a few minutes. Bulk Pins keeps at least 20 minutes between Pins on one account.
  • Duplicates: the same image and link over and over. Duplicate rows are skipped by default.
  • Sudden volume on a new account: keep a new account at 3 to 10 fresh Pins a day. An established account can handle 15 to 25. The check warns you when a day goes over 25.
  • Links: link only to your own pages, or to products you are allowed to promote.

Results: real numbers only

Results lists every post that went out, with a link to it. Once a day AM Jarvis reads the numbers each platform shares for posts up to 90 days old: Pinterest impressions, saves, outbound clicks and Pin clicks; Instagram reach, likes, comments, saves and shares; Facebook reactions, comments and shares, plus views and reach where Facebook provides them. Each number shows its source and check date. Nothing is estimated: if a platform reports no number, you see none.

Troubleshooting

  • "This Instagram account is a personal account": switch it to Business or Creator in the Instagram app, then connect again.
  • Needs reconnect: the platform signed you out, often after a password change. Its posts stop until you click Reconnect on the Accounts tab and Retry.
  • Instagram rejects the image: it needs a JPEG between 4:5 and 1.91:1 and under 8 MB. Use the Instagram size in Create, which crops and converts it.
  • The CSV is rejected: it needs a title column and an image column (Media URL or file name). The error lists the columns it found; compare them with the sample file. Split files over 200 Pins or 1 MB.

What it does not do

  • It does not post to X, TikTok or personal Facebook profiles.
  • It publishes single photo posts: no carousels, Reels, Stories or video. To split one image into a profile grid you post yourself, use the free Instagram grid maker.
  • Instagram does not make caption links clickable, so Instagram posts point people to the link in your bio.
  • It does not reply to comments or messages, and it does not edit your profile. For a styled bio line, try the fancy text generator.
  • The best posting times suggested when you schedule come from public marketing studies, not your followers' data. Your Results show what works for you.

Frequently asked questions

Can I bulk upload Pins to Pinterest from a CSV?

Yes. On the Bulk Pins tab, upload a CSV with a title, description, link, board and image for each Pin. Pinterest's own bulk template works as it is. Use image links or choose the image files from your computer. Up to 200 Pins per file, spread out at least 20 minutes apart.

Will scheduling Pins with an app get my Pinterest account banned?

AM Jarvis posts through Pinterest's official API with your permission, which Pinterest allows. What Pinterest flags is spam behavior: bursts of Pins in a few minutes, the same image and link over and over, and sudden high volume on a new account. Keep new accounts at 3 to 10 fresh Pins a day and link only to your own pages.

Do I need to give AM Jarvis my social media passwords?

No. You connect each account through the official Pinterest, Facebook or Instagram login screen and approve the permissions there. AM Jarvis never sees your password. You can disconnect any time, which cancels posts scheduled to that account and pauses its autopilot rules.

Which AI writes the posts and makes the images?

Your own AI account from Settings writes the posts, and your provider bills you directly. OpenRouter, OpenAI and Google Gemini can also make images. Other providers write captions only, so connect OpenRouter in one click, upload your own image or use a product photo.

Can I post to a personal Instagram account or Facebook profile?

No. Instagram only lets apps publish to Business or Creator accounts, so switch your account type in the Instagram app first. Facebook does not let apps post to personal profiles, so Social Autopilot posts to Facebook Pages you manage.

Why are X and TikTok not supported?

X now charges apps for every post, so AM Jarvis is waiting before adding it. TikTok requires an app audit before apps can post publicly, and support will be added once that is approved. For now Social Autopilot covers Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook Pages.
