Finding out what your audience cares about this week usually means opening a dozen tabs: YouTube search, a few subreddits, Google News, TikTok, Pinterest, a couple of Facebook groups. By the time you have checked them all, you have lost an hour and still have no clear picture. Viral Finder does that round of checks for you. You type your niche once, and it builds a single trend board that shows what people are searching, watching, discussing and sharing right now.
It is built for creators, store owners and marketers who need post and video ideas grounded in real activity, not guesses. Every number on the board comes from a named source, and the one number Jarvis calculates itself is clearly marked as such.
What the trend board shows
A board is organized into sections. You can include all of them or untick the ones you do not need.
| Section | Where it comes from | What you see |
|---|---|---|
| Rising topics | Google autocomplete | Up to 20 searches people are typing now that start with your niche, including the niche plus the current year |
| Top videos | YouTube Data API, or Google video results as a backup | Most viewed and newest videos in your time window, with real views, likes and comments when the YouTube API answers |
| Hot discussions | Reddit (top and rising posts) | Real upvotes, comments and upvote ratio, from a Reddit search plus the subreddits that come up most |
| News | Google News | Recent articles about your niche, with the publisher and date |
| Social posts | Public TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook posts found through Google | Post titles, authors where available, and any numbers Google quotes in its snippet |
| Pages and groups to join | Public Google results for facebook.com | Facebook groups first, then pages, with member or follower counts quoted from Google |
Rising topics also show how many findings on the same board mention each search, so you can spot a phrase that is both typed often and already being talked about. Click "New board" next to any rising topic to build a fresh board around it.
How to build a board
- Open Viral Finder and stay on the Trend board tab.
- Type your niche in plain words, for example "home workouts" or "skincare for men". Short phrases work best, up to 10 words.
- Pick a time window: past 24 hours, past 7 days or past 30 days.
- Pick a country from the list of 26, or leave it on "Any country".
- Tick the sections you want. The form shows about how many credits the board will use before you run it.
- Optional: open "More options" and name up to 3 subreddits. Leave it empty and Jarvis picks the subreddits that come up most for your niche.
- Click "Build trend board".
Each section can be sorted three ways: fastest growing (by Jarvis score), most engagement, or newest. Sources without numbers keep Google's order. You can export the whole board, including any AI ideas, as a CSV file.
Every number has a label
Trend tools often show a "hotness" score with no way to check it. Viral Finder takes the opposite approach. Each section states where its numbers come from and when they were checked, for example "Views, likes and comments from the YouTube Data API" or "Upvotes and comments from Reddit".
- Measured numbers: YouTube views, likes and comments from the YouTube Data API, and Reddit upvotes and comments, are real values from those platforms.
- Quoted numbers: for TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook, Jarvis only shows numbers Google printed in its search snippet, such as "250K members" or "1,204 likes". They are shown word for word and marked "per Google snippet".
- No number: if a source gave nothing, the finding says "No numbers from this source" instead of making one up.
The Jarvis score
The only number Jarvis calculates is the Jarvis score, a simple speed measure. For a Reddit post it is upvotes per hour since posting. For a YouTube video it is views per day since posting. It is labeled "Calculated by Jarvis, not a platform number" wherever it appears.
Speed matters more than totals when you want to catch a topic early. A Reddit post with 600 upvotes posted 8 hours ago scores 75 upvotes per hour. A post with 2,000 upvotes from 5 days ago scores about 17. The newer post is moving faster, even though its total is lower. The math uses at least 1 hour for Reddit and at least 1 day for YouTube, so a brand new post cannot get an inflated score.
AI content ideas, tied to real findings
Once a board is built, click "Get content ideas". Your own AI key, set in Settings, writes 10 post ideas and 5 video ideas from the findings on that board. This takes about 20 to 40 seconds.
- Each post idea has a hook, a one-line angle explaining why it works now, and a suggested format such as an Instagram carousel or a Facebook group post.
- Each video idea has a title, an opening hook and a 3 to 5 beat outline.
- Every idea shows "Inspired by" with a link to the exact finding or rising search behind it, so you can check the evidence before you commit.
The AI is told to use only the evidence on the board, not to invent statistics or quotes, and not to copy titles word for word. Ideas run on your own AI account, so they do not use credits.
Hooks and captions
For any finding or post idea, click "Write captions for this". The Hooks and captions tab then writes 10 hooks, 3 captions each for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X, and 3 content angles. You can pick a tone: friendly, bold, professional, funny or educational. This also runs on your AI key with no credits.
Worked example: from a board to a Pin, a Short and a blog post
Say you run a kitchen gadget store and a recipe blog. You type "air fryer recipes", choose the United States and the past 7 days, and leave every section ticked.
The board comes back with rising searches that start with "air fryer recipes", a set of most viewed and newest YouTube videos with their view counts, the top Reddit threads from the week, recent recipe news, public Pins and TikToks that Google has indexed, and a list of Facebook recipe groups with the member counts Google shows.
Now look for overlap. Suppose one rising search is about a specific ingredient, and the rising topic shows 4 findings on the board mention it. Sort Top videos by fastest growing and you find a video on that exact dish getting far more views per day than the rest. On Reddit, a thread asking why that dish comes out soggy has hundreds of comments. That is a topic with search demand, video momentum and an open question people want answered.
- A Pin: click "Write captions for this" on the Pinterest finding for a hook and caption, then pair it with your own photo. Link the Pin to your recipe post or a product page.
- A Short: use one of the 5 video ideas. Its outline gives you the beats, and the hook gives you the first line. Build the title and tags with the free YouTube title generator and YouTube tag generator.
- A blog post: answer the soggy question from the Reddit thread in full. Use the rising search as your target phrase, and quote nothing you did not verify yourself.
When the post is live, Social Autopilot can turn that page into Pins and Facebook or Instagram posts and schedule them.
Plans and credits
Each trend board counts as one search. Viral Finder shares its monthly search allowance with Marketplace Research. A standalone search on the Facebook pages and groups tab also counts as one search.
| Plan | Searches a month (shared with Marketplace Research) | Credits included each month |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 5 | 50 |
| Starter | 100 | 300 |
| Pro | Unlimited | 1,000 |
| Agency | Unlimited | 3,000 |
Credits pay for the Google searches behind a board. You are charged 1 credit only for a Google search that returned results. Searches that fail or come back empty are free. Reddit discussions use no credits, and top videos use none when they come from the YouTube Data API. A board with every section ticked uses about 8 or 9 credits, plus 1 more if Reddit is busy and Jarvis falls back to Google. The form shows the estimate before you run it. If you are short, untick a section or buy a credit pack. AI ideas, hooks and captions never use credits.
Every board is saved. Opening a saved board is free, and "Re-run" fetches fresh data for the usual credits. Plan prices are on the pricing page.
What Viral Finder cannot show you
- No search volumes. Google autocomplete shows what people type, not how many people type it, and no volume numbers exist for those suggestions. For keyword volumes and topical maps, use Niche Research.
- No private data. Jarvis does not log in to TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest or Facebook and does not scrape logged-in pages. It sees only what Google has publicly indexed, so posts in private groups and feeds are out of reach.
- Snippet numbers can be old. Member and follower counts quoted from Google snippets reflect when Google last crawled the page.
- Google video results have no view counts. If the YouTube Data API is unavailable, videos come from Google and you need to open a video to see its views.
- Reddit backup has no upvotes. If Reddit is busy, Jarvis uses Google results for reddit.com instead (1 credit) and can only show what Google quotes.
- X is not a source. The board does not pull posts from X. X is only a caption format in Hooks and captions.
Note: A trend board shows what is getting attention, not whether it will sell or keep growing. Treat it as a starting point and check the finding yourself before you build a product or a campaign around it.
Troubleshooting
Empty or thin sections
If a section says nothing was found in this time window, switch to past 7 or past 30 days, or use a broader niche. "Home workouts" will return more than a long, specific phrase. If Rising topics is empty, try a shorter or more common phrase.
Results older than the window
Now and then Google refuses the date or country filter. Jarvis then runs the plain search and adds a note that the results may be older than your time window.
No ideas button, or ideas fail
Content ideas need your AI key in Settings; the rest of the board works without it. If your provider rejects the key or is out of credit, the message says so. A board with very few findings cannot produce ideas, so broaden the niche or lengthen the window first.
YouTube quota message
The YouTube Data API has a daily quota that resets at midnight Pacific time. When it runs out, Jarvis falls back to Google video results and says so on the board.
If you plan video content, pair your board with YouTube Studio, which researches YouTube keywords and tags from real YouTube search suggestions.
